This was likely a decorative plaque for a chip box rather than a gaming chip given the carving to one side and angled edges. We would place it around the same age as gaming counters with similiar designs. Some signs of age as detailed below.

Size roughly: 3.2 x 0.95 inch or 80 x 24 mm
Condition: in antique condition with signs of previous use, some natural imperfections in the mother of pearl are visible, wear to edges, tiny nibbles to edges, some yellowing to corners which may be natural discolouration, some dust / dirt caught in engraving, please see all pictures
