Antique surveyor Bostrom with original tripod by Thornton & Co Deansgate Manchester. Spirit level and compass to Bostrum which seem to be operational. Image is inverted when looking through. We don’t know if this is how it is supposed to be. It’s not a telescope after all! Focus seems operational but needs a little persuasion. Please study pictures carefully as this is sold as is and we are not sure if it is complete.
We will split the legs from the telescope / bostrum and sell separately. We have had a few of the antique surveyor tools pass through the store but never the legs and these are showing some rather special patina. They could of course be repurposed for other equipment. The legs are 75% of listed price. The bostrum 35% of listed price. Shipping cost will also be reduced. Please enquire.
Tripod will need specialist shipping. Please check with us before purchasing to see if we can deliver to your location. Delays to our normal delivery timescales are likely.
