Globes de Mari??e or Marriage Globes were displayed in homes to commemorate the couple’s union. They would be proudly displayed and would hold symbolic keepsakes such as the bride’s wedding crown which would rest on the throne’s velvet cushion. Many have lost their glass domes over the years and this is one of those! We have others in stock with their domes present.
