An always popular vintage French traditional wooden milking stool with bobbin style legs. We call these D stools because of the shape of the seat. Also a great pot stand for a rustic location. This one is in fair to good condition. Painted white at some point but this paint job is now worn and tired, but it may have been artificially aged when painted – rubbed down etc – structurally the stool is good. With some signs of age as detailed below.

Condition: in vintage condition with signs of previous use, wear and scratches, these stools are made without the use of glue or nails and rely on good joints only, usually over the years the joints wear a little but this one is holding up well with no wiggle – it may have had some glue added at some point, one leg is slightly twisted round in it’s hole as can be seen from the top of the stool, repainted at some point and then artificially aged or has just worn over time, paint is now tired, dusty, ignoring the cosmetic state a good strong example of these very popular stools all ready for work, please see all pictures
